Rīgas operas teātra (tagad LNO) solists, liriski dramatiskais tenors Izrails Feigelsons (1921.g.-1991.g.) dzimis Rīgā. Vecāki pārcēlās uz Daugavpili, kur Izrails pabeidza vidusskolu. Ģimene bija deportēta uz Krasnojarskas novadu. 1947. gada Izrails atgriezās Rīgā. Viņa pedagogi Latvijas konservatorijā bija izcili latviešu dziedātāji – tenors Rudolfs Bērziņš un bass-baritons Aleksandrs Viļumanis.
